Temporary contract/secondment opportunity until 31 March 2020

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to help deliver the service to our customers on the First Floor of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library.

You will be an excellent communicator and be committed to delivering a high standard of customer service, working in a face-to-face environment and serving customers of all ages and from the whole community. You must be able to demonstrate that you have recent experience of delivering quality customer service.

This post is based on the first floor of the Library, which houses the majority of book stock both fiction and non-fiction also 50 public PC’s. The post requires excellent communication skills and candidates must be proficient at using IT.

The post includes manning the enquiry desk answering all enquiries which includes IT support, maintaining the stock, shelving and other tasks needed to keep a busy library going.
Some work on the ground floor of the library is also required.

The post will include some evenings (until 7.00pm) including Saturday and Sunday working.
