Social Workers (Children’s Services) C00012 CHFE

Locations across Norfolk

We want you to have a brilliant Social Work/Life Balance

Up to £39,780 + £2k welcome payment (subject to qualifying criteria) + up to £10K relocation

Permanent contracts

At Norfolk County Council, we know the job you do is challenging, which is why you should love the place in which you do it. With stunning beaches, world-class cultural events, an affordable lifestyle, and the Broads National Park right on your doorstep, Norfolk is the ideal place to perfect your work life balance.

We have ambitious plans to shape how we work with families, placing practitioners and relationship-based practice at the heart of what we do. Through Vital Signs, our vision for Children in Norfolk, we use Signs of Safety practice to work with whole family networks and across the whole system to support families to build on their strengths and to achieve the best possible outcomes.

We’ve already made some big innovative steps, for example introducing our brand-new front door known as the Children’s Advice and Duty Service.  Our new approach enables us to work alongside children, families and professionals from the start until they no longer need our support, using a conversational, coaching approach.

If you’re an experienced children’s social worker and want to work together with us to shape the future of Children’s Services in Norfolk, we want to hear from you.
