Full time and part time opportunities available

It’s building on your strength and ours

It’s an exciting time to join us as a Social Worker in the Learning Disabilities service as we embed our news ways of working (Living Well: 3 conversations) which aligns with our vision to support people to be independent, resilient and well.

To implement our new models of care we’re investing in our people, the people who will make it happen and take us forward on our journey. We’re looking for dedicated Social Workers for our Learning Disabilities teams who are modernising the way we deliver in line with our vision of promoting independence wherever possible.

You’ll need to be open to change, innovative and confident with a focus on strengthening social work within the Learning Disabilities service across Norfolk. You’ll enjoy the challenge of working with the whole family, gain invaluable skills and develop your career within the learning disabilities arena. Building strong partnerships with service users and their families, you’ll talk about what they can do, harness community resources and share ideas for positive outcomes.

Sounds like something you would like to be involved in?

We’re committed to continuous professional development and offer benefits such as childcare vouchers and Norfolk Rewards – a scheme offering discounts on everyday purchases.

It’s your time to be part of our journey.

We welcome applications from individuals currently working in other organisations, however we would like to make you aware that priority consideration for this post may be given to current employees who are affected by restructure within the organisation or are in a redeployment position.
