Hi, I’m Sally Sinclair, Head of Social Work for the Norwich locality. I began my career over 20 years ago as a Newly Qualified Social Worker here at Norfolk County Council. Through support, training and plenty of development opportunities, I am now proud to lead the social work teams across Norwich. It is a great time to join us in Norwich, we have regrouped our teams and ready to welcome dedicated social work professionals. The teams across the Norwich locality are incredibly supportive, work closely together and our managers provide a supportive environment through development and mentoring.

Norfolk is a fantastic place to live and work. Our main base is in the city of Norwich at Carrow House - ideally situated within easy walking distance of the city centre with parking on-site.

The city of Norwich is a unique and vibrant place in the heart of Norfolk. It is a creative and innovative hub and culturally dynamic. Norwich combines old with new and offers excellent shopping, restaurants and a pub for everyday of the year. Travel links are extensive with direct rail links to London and Cambridge and Norwich International Airport provides links to Europe and beyond.

Right now, I’m looking for experienced and dedicated Level 2 Social Workers to join our Family Intervention and Looked After team and Senior Social Workers to join our Assessment Teams.

If you’re a dedicated social work professional and like the sound of working in Norwich, I’d love to hear from you.
