The Interreg France (Channel) England programme is recruiting a Communications Support Officer to assist the Communications and Partnership Manager on communications, campaigns and media issues for the Programme in support of the objectives in the Communications Plan.  We’re offering a fantastic opportunity to work in communications, dealing with European co-operation projects, funded by the European Union until 31 December 2023.

 

You will join a team which funds exciting collaborative projects between French and English communities in the Channel area.  These are aimed at bringing about improvements in innovation, social innovation, low carbon technologies, heritage, and water ecosystems.

 

We are looking for someone with experience in communications.  The role will include:

  • Supporting the Communications and Partnership Manager with the development and delivery of the annual Communications Plan. 
  • Responsibility for creating and publishing content, writing press releases, putting together newsletters, monitoring coverage, gathering analytics and organising events, under the leadership of the Communications and Partnership Manager. 
  • Keeping the website up-to-date and ensuring all Programme and Project related literature both hard copy and electronic are General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant.

All our office based roles are currently working from home as part of our Smarter Working plans and to support the health and safety of all our colleagues. We anticipate that working remotely will be a key feature of this role and when offices re-open your office base will be County Hall, Norwich.  Our technology platform and equipment is first class enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.

 

Interviews will take place on 18 February 2021 via video technology, where you will have the opportunity to discuss these working arrangements.
